1. Scope of Services
DIY (Do-It-Yourself Kits)
Mann Tile provides DIY Shower Kits as a materials package only. Customer is responsible for the complete installation. Mann Tile provides written instructions, diagrams, and video content for general guidance only. These resources do not create a warranty, guarantee, or professional obligation on the part of Mann Tile.
DWY (Done-With-You Installations)
Mann Tile performs the following: demolition, waterproofing using Schluter® systems, and installation of the shower valve and drain assembly. The Customer is solely responsible for installing tile, grout, trim, and finishes. Instructions, diagrams, and video content are provided as guidance only and do not transfer liability to Mann Tile.
DFY (Done-For-You Installations)
Mann Tile performs the entire shower installation, including demo, waterproofing, plumbing, tiling, grouting, and finishing.
2. Payment Terms
• DIY Kits: Full payment is due at checkout. Products will ship or be made available for pickup once payment is confirmed.
• DWY & DFY Services: Full payment is due at checkout. No work will be scheduled until payment is confirmed.
All sales are final, subject to cancellation rights described below.
3. Warranties
• DIY Kits: Manufacturer warranties apply to included products. No workmanship warranty is provided for customer installations.
• DWY Installations: Mann Tile warrants workmanship only on portions of work performed directly by Mann Tile (demo, waterproofing, plumbing rough-in) for one (1) year from completion. No warranty is provided for customer-installed portions, even if performed according to Mann Tile’s instructions.
• DFY Installations: Mann Tile warrants all workmanship performed under DFY contracts for one (1) year from completion, unless otherwise specified. Manufacturer warranties also apply.
4. Liability & Instructions Disclaimer
Customer acknowledges and agrees that Mann Tile is not responsible for leaks, failures, defects, or damages caused by:
• Customer installation of DIY Kits,
• Customer-completed portions of DWY Installations,
• or any installation performed by a third party.
This release applies even if the Customer followed Mann Tile’s instructions, diagrams, or video guidance.
5. Permits & Code Compliance
Mann Tile will obtain required permits for the portions of work it performs. Customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with codes and permits on any work they complete themselves.
6. Right to Cancel (Florida Law)
If this agreement is entered into at Customer’s residence, Florida law provides a 3-business day right to cancel in writing (Florida Statutes § 501.025).
7. Florida Construction Lien Law Notice
Under Florida’s Construction Lien Law (Chapter 713, Florida Statutes), suppliers or subcontractors who are not paid in full have the right to enforce a claim against your property. This is called a construction lien.
8. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions represent the entire agreement between Customer and Mann Tile. By completing an online purchase, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
Customer Acceptance: By checking the box at checkout, Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
