We’re very excited to give you a sneak peek into behind the scenes of our newest and most exciting project yet…
We were told to pick bright, bold colors… so we did. 😀 I must admit, it was quite shocking to see that bold squash color on those very white walls. We were all trying to assure each other that we really did like that color…
We believe in having fun, even while working… This is Ada (a good friend of ours who helped paint) and myself.

And here’s the store front, all painted! I was asked to pick the paint color, and when I asked what color I should pick, my dad pretty much said, “some kind of cream color… pretty much anything but red…” which… wasn’t quite clear. So I picked a color and hoped very much it would work. Well, when he was first starting to paint, it looked terrible. I was rather distressed… and hoped it would look better when it dried. Thankfully, it did. And it even matched the top part of the plaza–which was completely unintentional. 😀 (And no, the three crazy girls did not paint the outside… Our friends at Burnett Painting did that. They even gave us a painting can full of delicious cookies when they finished!)
Tile! Lots of it!
Yup, that’s right– Mann Tile is working on opening a store front! It’s still a work in progress, so we’re “unofficially” open right now– but feel free stop by and let us know what you think. (or just to see if three girls in dresses really can paint a store… I’m sure you must be wondering after those pictures.)
Hannah and I are here from 9 am till 4 pm, Monday to Friday. (Saturdays are by appointment only, and you have to be really really nice to us. ;))
